There is no one factor more important to our health and wellness than our combined breathing habits and air quality. Brain damages occurs when the brain is deprived of oxygen for longer than 5 minutes, the body begins to shut down from exhaustion after 36-48 hours without rest, organ and system failures begin to occur at 72 hours without water, while starvation takes about 21 days. The world health organization releases statistics every decade on the top 10 causes of death, and the majority have always been directly linked to air pollution/respiratory failure.

Everything we do requires energy. In fact, on a 2000 calorie diet, 500 cals, goes to running the brain at 10%. Running the brain to do basic function requires a lot of energy; thinking, contemplating, planning all require tremendous amounts of energy. However, on any given day, 30% of our energy is dedicated to rejuvenation and on average, at least 30% is drained by negative emotion and spaces. The lack of energy we experience, is not because there are no sources of energy available, but is due to our misinformation as to how we both produce energy from within the body and take energy into the body. It’s not that we don’t have the ability to use 100% of our brain power, it’s more like we don’t take in enough energy or exercise the right faculties to power the brain at 100%. Fortunately, doing this does cost a fortune; only clean air, intentional breathing and imagination are required.
